Many of our clients who are eligible and who have enrolled for JobKeeper have received their April reimbursement.
In order to receive your payments for future months you will be required to prepare & lodge your monthly business declaration with the ATO. The declaration can be made using the business portal or through your registered tax agent.
Please note these business declarations are not re-testing your eligibility. Once qualified payments will continue regardless of business recovery; provided the ongoing reporting obligations are met.
The monthly business declaration must be made by the 14th day of each month to receive reimbursements for payments made to your employees in the previous month. For example, to receive the payments for May the declaration needs to be completed by the 14 June 2020.
Each month the declaration will include your turnover for the previous month, your projected turnover for the current month and a confirmation of your employee numbers.
If you are eligible, want to receive JobKeeper payments for April and May and have not already registered, you must complete your enrolment by 31 May 2020.
