Step 1 – Enrol
Please check your eligibility and enrol if you meet all the eligibility requirements.
You have until 31 May 2020 to enrol if you are eligible and want to receive payments for April and/or May.
You can enrol after 31 May 2020 if you become eligible at a later date. You will not be paid for the fortnights in April and May if you enrol after 31 May 2020.
You must pay your eligible employees a minimum of $1,500 (before tax) for each JobKeeper fortnights 1 and 2 by 8 May 2020 to be able to claim JobKeeper payments for April.
Step 2 – Identify your Employees and/or Business Participant
Make sure your eligible employees have each completed the ‘JobKeeper payment – employee nomination notice’.
A link to the notice can be found below:

If you are nominating a business participant, make sure they have completed the ‘JobKeeper nomination notice for eligible business participants – excluding sole traders’.
A link to the notice can be found below:
Please note that sole traders are not required to complete a nomination notice.
If you are using single touch payroll make sure you consult your software instructions to ensure employee details are reported to the ATO. You will not receive payments for the relevant month until your employees and/or business participant are identified.
Step 3 – Monthly reporting
Each month make a business declaration confirming your business and employee eligibility and provide your business’s current & projected GST turnover. Please note that providing the current & projected GST turnover is for ATO information only. You are NOT re-tested for turnover eligibility each month.
